Story Intelligence Program

The concept of Story Intelligence (SQ) explicitly puts the power of story at the heart of what it means to be effectual in every realm of our existence, stretching beyond the concepts of intellectual and emotional intelligence. Simultaneously, SQ both undergirds and amplifies our understanding of EQ and IQ, acting as an activator and catalyst for these capacities. It’s not enough to simply perceive, understand, use, and manage our emotions. Our ability to function effectively in the twenty-first century depends on our mastering this innate feature of our personal, social, and spiritual existence.

Further, we believe a high SQ has become essential to successfully compete in an increasingly complex, fast-moving, interconnected world. By embracing and understanding the role story plays in every way we interact with ourselves and others, we can actively set the trajectory we’d like our lives to take. Moreover, we can become experts at judiciously managing the stories we’re bombarded with daily, developing the necessary know-how to discern the ways they obfuscate fundamental truths, limit our possibilities, and unleash our human potential.
